If I could, I would give it Zero stars. I am a local who didn't buy tickets to go because I didn't want to subject my ears to it. Unfortunately, they have made it so stupidly loud that I can hear it from SEVERAL block away and being subjected to the horribly loud music. It is so stupidly loud that I can't sleep. It is disrespectful to locals who actually need to get up early to go to work on the weekend. There needs to be a cap on the volume so locals in a residential area aren't forced to hear it when they are trying to get sleep. Be respectful of other people's hearing who aren't even nearby.
The line on Friday was terribly long. Waited 1h15 just to inside, missed Cosmic Gate’s set. Worst wait to get at a Festival, for someone who has been to +20 Festivals, including Tomorrowland, Core Medellin, EDC. Escapade has been around for +10 years, they should know better. The crowd was so angry, people were about to riot. It killed everyone’s vibe. This couple next to me was from Toronto and came only for 1 day, they swore never to come back. Escapade is not what it used to be, it has really fallen off from a cliff. Rather go to VELD any day.
