I had a great time on Carnival Firenze! The terminal was extremely hot, super long lines with no A/C. Some employees were not nice, others were very helpful during my first cruise!
My friend had a medical emergency with her heart at the dock and we weren't able to go on this cruise. Unfortunately we didn't get the trip insurance. After providing documents we were where in the hospital for 3 days, we were unable to get the cruise refunded or rescheduled. There's exceptions to every rule. They make plenty of money from the bookings and beverages. They should do better.
We are Diamond cruisers, and considering the changes Carnival has made, it was a lovely cruise. The crew particularly the dining was excellent. Now the cons, TV news sucks CBS. Also, now rewards are based on money spent, not years of loyalty. They are still killing us with smoking in the Casino. They have a small non smoking 🚭 casino. MAKE THAT SMOKING. Entertainment has changed. No good tap your toes, sing along bands. That sucks, but we still love ❤️ Carnival.
