Facility info

Wait times: Consistently long. 4-20+ hours reported. Most drivers waiting 8-12 hours to get loaded. A few outliers got in and out in 2 hours or less, but they're the exception. Live load operation. Dock assignments can take hours. Some drivers waited 5-9 hours just to get assigned a door. Once on dock, another 3-8 hours to load. Paperwork delays. Major bottleneck. Drivers report waiting 1-5 hours for paperwork after loading is complete. Multiple reports of being held up by paperwork alone. Appointment scheduling. Having an appointment doesn't guarantee faster service. At least one driver arrived early for 8pm appointment and finished at 6:47pm; others with appointments still waited 8+ hours. Drop and hook available. Preloaded trailers located in west lot. Can be quicker if trailer is ready. Check-in procedure. Enter at west end, check in at guard shed (northwest). Shipping/receiving at east end (frozen section) accessed through employee locker room. Facility conditions. Under construction, which is slowing things down. Large western lot allows 10-hour breaks. Vending machines with actual food available at guard shed building. Staff attitude. Mixed. Some drivers report friendly, helpful staff. Others report rude, dismissive office staff and receiving department personnel. Inconsistent service quality. Bathroom access. At least one report of no bathroom availability. Hazmat/dry van routing. Sent to remote back road with poor signage. Driver must pallet jack load. Assistance not provided. Product temperature issue. Drivers report warm product being loaded with instruction to freeze to -10 degrees. Overnight parking. Large western lot available for rest breaks.

Warning: brokers are lying when they offer loads from this facility!
Not only do they hide behind another company name instead of saying it is Tyson, but they also deliberately give you the wrong pickup date so you accept an unprofitable load. For example, they may tell you the pickup is at 8:00 AM, while the actual appointment at Tyson is not until 10:00 AM the following day. By then, you have already confirmed the load and arrived at the facility.
Of course, there are no restrooms available. It is a poultry plant, apparently one of the lowest-level industries in the U.S. because chicken is so cheap, right?
Absolutely terrible. Never work with liars.

Absolutely terrible experience. I checked in at 6:00 PM and was not loaded/unloaded until more than 24 hours later. Drivers are forced to wait on a dirt road with no restroom facilities. Poor organization, no respect for drivers’ time, and unacceptable conditions. Avoid this place if you can. One of the worst facilities I have ever visited.
