OPERATIONS Drop and hook significantly faster than live unloading Live unloading: expect 3-5 hours minimum, sometimes full day Guard shack check-in: 30 minutes to 1 hour common Appointment timing strict—arriving early may result in being turned away; stick to appointment window High-value loads may experience extended waits Receiving may indicate load not ready despite greenlight showing ready WAIT TIMES Drop/hook: quick turnaround, under 1 hour Live unload: highly variable, 2.5-5+ hours typical Some reports of all-day waits during busy periods Counting/verification process adds significant time on some loads FACILITY EXPERIENCE Staff generally friendly and accommodating Safe area, easy yard access Overnight parking available Bathroom facilities available Inconsistent unloading speed—some loads under 1 hour, others 5+ hours BOTTOM LINE Solid option for drop/hook work. Live unloading unpredictable—plan for extended wait and don't expect tight schedule adherence. Staff attitude generally positive. Not ideal if running tight on hours.
Driver reviews
Please don't come her they don't care about your time they hold me for 5 hours and I,m still waiting
Came here with a delivery. Was sitting for 3 hours when my dispatcher called them. They stated I was late to the guard shack. Got to the guard shack 10 minutes before my appointment and had to wait for 2 other trucks to be checked in. Which the put me 8 minutes late. So now I am a “work in”. Now 3 1/2 hours in and still waiting. So they can say whatever the hell they want to suit their purpose.

To add to this review. I had a hodgepodge of items from the shipper ( double digit pages of BOL). So guessing part of the “work in” was really counting each item.

Why is unloading so long? OTR BEWARE. This is by far the worst Walmart DC I've been to.
