Facility info

OPERATIONS Appointment system exists but largely ignored—first come, first served in practice. Single dock door for both loading and unload creates severe bottlenecks. Expect 3–9+ hour waits regardless of appointment time. Mandatory $35 washout charge to get loaded. Per-pallet loading fees ($8 reported). Lumper unload fees ($100 flat rate for any size load). Additional charges for freight rework. Drivers not permitted on dock to observe loading. Load weight discrepancies reported—verify BOLs carefully. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Staff generally friendly and courteous—consistent positive feedback on crew attitude. No driver lounge. Street parking available but hazardous (no shoulder, tight area, creates traffic flow issues). Restroom inside building. Overnight parking on street reported as feasible with no issues noted. Strong odor near loading door reported multiple times. Facility runs continuously with visible activity. Quick turnaround on days without backlog, but backlog is frequent. KEY ISSUE Single dock door is the core problem. Compresses all traffic through one point. Expect long detention regardless of staff performance. Plan schedule accordingly and confirm broker covers detention pay. Early arrival doesn't guarantee priority.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding my recent experience at your facility. I arrived at 6:00 AM for a scheduled truck load pickup, but was not loaded until 3:00 PM — a total wait time of 9 hours.<br>This level of delay is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. In my experience, I have never encountered such poor efficiency or communication at a pickup location. This caused significant delays in my schedule and affected my operations for the rest of the day.
