Facility info
STOP – These reviews are for a restaurant (The Highliner), not a truck driver facility. I can't provide a facility summary because this isn't a freight operations location. If you have reviews for an actual trucking facility (shipper, receiver, rest area, truck stop, etc.), I'm ready to summarize those.
Driver reviews
Been here about five times and everything is constantly excellent. Fish n chips, fish tacos, fried oysters and oyster shooters all great. On top of that the prices are fair and reasonable. Great selection of beers on tap.
I will continue coming back.
I hated to get a burger at a place known for seafood, but that's what I was hungry for and I was not disappointed. Excellent burger from the meat to the bun to the cheddar to the onion, taomatoe, and lettuce. Fries were average to above average, but with a burger that good, I didn't mind. A bit more towards the shoestring end of the fries spectrum than I prefer, but there were lots of them and the burger sauce I asked to be on the side was a great dipping sauce. The service was very attentive. I'll have to come back and get fish and chips or one of their seafood dishes.
Not the best
Although the food was good, a two piece fish and chips with a coke for $24 is a bit pricey.
Highliner has been a staple at the terminal for a long time, but I liked it better when it was more of a dive bar with a shuffleboard table and cheap eats.
Feels like I have to dress nice to grab lunch there now 😥
