  My father has to have surgery, my 2 year old and I had been at the hospital roughly 4 hours, we saw a playground, he asked to go play on it, we saw no keep out signs, or caution tape no indication the play area wasnt open, or was for private use. A lady and a gentleman asked us to leave, which we promptly complied and started to leave, my son ran to play on a different toy in the area, he's 2 he doesn't understand the world yet, the lady attempted to stop my kid, completely and utterly unprofessional, also her additude during the entire interaction was not acceptable, dont want kids to play on a playground near surgery where all the families are, hang a sign or something. She claimed it was under construction, it very well might have been, but as a facility's engineer at Norton's healthcare, it wasn't obviously under construction. A roll of caution tape is what, $5? This lady truthfully needs to loose her job, bare minimum be written up. Why exactly did she even decide to say something to us? At my hospital we would have notified security to have that interaction, seems likely that is your policy in fact, I'd presume we have similar policies. I'd love to receive an apology from this lady, and an explanation on why she took it personal a 2 year was playing on playground equipment??? I made a formal complaint at the registration desk shortly after, you have my name a number. Please, reach out. I should have corrected her in the moment, but I was trying to teach my son how to be a man. Which is why we didn't hesitate or argue, we complied immediately.<br><br>Update, they responded and told me to reach out to them which I did and they never responded back to me they don't care about the common patient.

  On Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.,my Dad, Larry Bellamy passed away peacefully after a 22-day stay at Baptist Health. He was 86 years old, but he loved to tell me exactly how many days old he was each day. He lived 31,582 beautiful days.<br><br>I cannot fully express how grateful our family is to Baptist Health Louisville for taking such wonderful care of him over these past 22 days. Hosparus Health, Palliative Care Team, and the entire staff were so kind, loving, compassionate, and respectful during his final days. We will forever be grateful for the care and dignity they gave him.
