Skylark

Operator: Skylark
Facility info
Backing & lot: Must back in blind from street around curve to guard shack, then to dock. Small facility with tight maneuvering. Park on street before checking in — don't pull into gate. Approach from 110th Street if possible. Novice drivers report difficulty; experienced drivers say it's manageable. Currently construction and dropped trailers add obstacles. Check-in & wait times: Park on street, walk to guard shack. Call ahead if arriving early — nowhere to park if you're there more than 1 hour before appointment. Wait times are inconsistent: some get loaded within 15-30 minutes of appointment, others wait 2+ hours. A few reports of being called in 3-4 hours early. One trailer per dock — only one truck unloads at a time. Operations: Drop and hook available. Live loading sometimes quick, sometimes slow. Facility removes your load seal at dock. Product-ready timing varies — delays reported when COA (Certificate of Analysis) hasn't been received yet. Staff & facilities: Mixed reviews on guard shack attitude — some drivers report rudeness, others say professional. Once past gate, shipping/receiving staff generally friendly and helpful. No overnight parking. No indoor bathroom access — port-a-potty reported full and nasty. No space to wait inside facility. Speed when moving: When you're in a door and product is ready, unloading is genuinely fast (25-60 minutes typical). Problem is getting a door assignment, not the actual load operation.

Arrived at 0620 for 0700 delivery appt.
Called to a dock at 0900.
Started unloading at 1030.

The dock supervisor said this place is in the process of closing, so they are short handed. I wouldn't bring another load here. It's only going to get worse, while they try to keep people here until the doors shut.
They get 2 starts because security guard is nice, I got lucky I backed when it was dusk so there was no traffic but I can’t imagine traffic and having to deal with that. Wasn’t as stressful for me since the situation was different but yeah just not my thing. I prefer easy docks this was a challenge but hey that is truck driving just an annoyance. As well as the trailers being lined up too close so if you wanna hook up you’ll have to move a trailer to get to your trailer which is eh but security guard is nice so there’s that
Great peaple
Easier to head towards the curve and blind side in. However once you're in the docks will be on your sight side.
