Facility info

Appointments required—miss them and expect delays or rejection. FCFS appears to override appointment times. Live unload only. Check-in at receiving door 32, break seal, open trailer doors, dock. Wait times brutal and unpredictable: 3–8+ hours common for small loads (2–8 pallets). Some reports of 11+ hours with no start. Overnight parking: limited or unavailable depending on circumstances. Signs say no overnight but some drivers report being placed at dock doors overnight. Bathrooms: porto-potty only (not well-maintained per reviews). No traditional restroom. Staff: inconsistent. Nice people mentioned frequently, but also reports of disorganization, poor communication, and attitude issues. Receiving personnel not always helpful. Yard conditions: tight entrance (sharp left turn from main route—use I-70/Emerson Ave entrance instead). Only 5 dock doors for big rigs, some tight. Adequate backing space once docked. Safety requirements: safety vest and shoes mandatory. Receiving hours: 10 p.m.–6 a.m. (evening/night shifts faster). Day shifts slow. Early arrival won't help—no early unloading. Park elsewhere until appointment window. Load size doesn't correlate to speed—3 pallets can take 5 hours, 13 pallets can take 30 minutes.

Receiving hours between 10pm-6am, no parking place and no street parking (street is very tight) until appt. time. Better to wait in parking lots before entering to the city. Restroom is mobile one.

Buen lugar.

IF&P FOODS' yard was a tad "occupied" for lack of a better word. It was my 1st time there (07/19/25). It's definitely not the worst yard I've been in. I backed up in front of door 33. Rcving is to the left of door 32. You'll enter into what I call a holding cage that is locked. There is a cow bell , signage, a buzzer for IFP drivers, a pay phone looking phone, & another modern style phone. When you're let into the warehouse. The receiving sign with arrow will guide you to where you check in. I was told to break my seal, open trlr doors, square up & dock. Cars & trucks enter into the same entrance. Exit where you enter. When they're done, they will call you to go back inside & collect your signed bills. Close up, lock up & roll out!
