OPERATIONS Appointment scheduling required but operates FCFS — appointment time is not guaranteed. Plan for significant waits; load times range from 45 minutes to 5+ hours depending on dock availability and staffing. Must use PA Route 147 to Ridge Road to Cannery Road (981 Cannery Rd) — only legal truck route. Avoid Route 11 or other roads; $200+ tickets reported. Ridge Road has 10-ton weight restrictions February-April (exemption for first 1.5 miles). Check-in via self-service kiosk in office using 6-digit PU# and PO#. Text notifications sent when dock assigned and load complete. Live load operation. Scale on-site to check weight before departure. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Overnight parking available in dirt lot near docks — arrive early (by 10am) as line gets very long after that time. Porta potty outside only; no indoor restroom facilities reported. Staff attitude mixed: some drivers report friendly, helpful employees; others report rude, slow workers and poor management communication. Poor dock coordination — drivers report being sent to wrong locations, losing place in line. Dock area spacious with room to park while waiting. Driveway/road surface rough in spots. Yard conditions acceptable but construction in area may cause navigation issues. ADDITIONAL NOTES Communication issues: slow to answer phones, poor appointment coordination, double-booking loads reported. FCFS system means arriving early doesn't guarantee faster service. Understaffed — management criticized for not hiring enough loaders. Some quality control issues noted (unsealed trailers, damaged/rotting product visible). Wait times make it difficult to meet downstream appointments.
