  If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.<br><br>WARNING TO ALL OWNER-OPERATORS AND CARRIERS<br><br>If you're thinking about working directly with this customer, don't. This was one of the worst business experiences I've had, and it cost me both time and money.<br><br>I hauled over 44,000 lbs of freight for this customer at a rate that already barely made sense, simply because we had an agreement. When I arrived, I was told payment would be made through Zelle. Instead of paying as agreed, I was told only part of the payment could be sent and that I would have to wait another day or two for the rest.<br><br>To make matters worse, the customer refused to pay detention for the time my truck was tied up because of delays on his end. Every carrier knows that a truck is not free storage. Delaying a truck costs drivers money and prevents them from accepting other loads. Because of this, I had to cancel a pre-booked load and lost additional income.<br><br>Richard's attitude made the situation even worse. Rather than trying to fix the problem, he became rude and told me he didn't care if the freight arrived next month because he didn't need it. That showed complete disregard for a driver's time, schedule, and livelihood.<br><br>In my experience, doing business directly with this customer is a great way to lose money. Make sure your payment is fully secured before delivery, and have every detention term agreed to in writing. I will never haul for this customer again, and I hope this review saves another carrier from going through the same experience.
