Facility info

APPOINTMENTS & CHECK-IN Appointments required and blocked — can't show up more than 1 hour early. Gate check-in typically 4 minutes when moving, but overall facility time 2-4 hours standard. Major inconsistency in total dwell time — some reports 30 minutes, others 4-5 hours. Lane signage poor; visibility issues at night. Make sure you're in correct lane on approach. OPERATIONS Drop and hook capability confirmed. Live load/unload possible. Unloading speed varies widely — reported as both fast and slow (2-3 hours average, but can stretch to 4+ hours). Some reports of backing pressure and aggressive yard personnel. Under ongoing construction in some areas. FACILITY & AMENITIES Bathrooms on site. Vending available. No overnight parking. Limited nearby trucker parking. Yard navigation generally easy but can be tight during peak times. STAFF Mixed bag. Multiple positive mentions of specific gate personnel being helpful and professional. Some reports of rude or aggressive behavior from certain staff members and yard drivers. Generally friendly during off-peak hours (late night arrivals noted as smoother). REALITY CHECK Standard Walmart DC experience — expect the full 2-4 hours regardless of load size. Traffic and processing delays common. Performance seems to depend heavily on time of day and which staff members are working. Late-night/off-peak arrivals run smoother. Nearby Love's truck stop about 20 minutes south.
