Facility info

Appointments Appointments mean little—facility routinely delays loads regardless of check-in time. Some drivers report appointments ignored entirely; others show up early and still wait 3+ hours. Register via app before arriving or risk losing appointment slot at gate. Check-in Use the Bud Express app to check in on your phone before arriving—speeds up process significantly. Physical kiosk check-in at scale also available but slower. Slide tandems to rear, have all pickup info ready, open doors before scale. Three lanes available. Call help line after kiosk check-in to confirm they received your information. Loading/Unloading Live loads: expect 4–7+ hours minimum, sometimes over 24 hours for preloaded trailers that aren't ready. Drop and hook: 1–2 hours if you're lucky, but loads often convert to live loads without warning. Trailers frequently preloaded incorrectly or overweight—you'll be sent back to dock for corrections. Multiple scaling-out cycles common due to weight violations. Load locks must be installed on-site before departure, but facility won't allow installation from dock—drivers forced to climb trailers in rain/ice/wind to comply. Timing Come middle of the night or early morning for shortest waits. Daytime arrivals mean 45 minutes to 1.5+ hours just to get through check-in and scale. Showing up 2–3 hours before appointment recommended. Wait times range wildly: best case 1–2 hours, typical case 4–5 hours, worst case 24+ hours. Facility/Conditions Huge parking area available. No legal on-site overnight parking. Restrooms rarely available or not clean. Yard jockeys friendly and helpful if confused. Facility is confusing to navigate first time—unclear signage, trailer locations not organized logically, some dock doors difficult to access (require creative maneuvering). Exit scale present but adds another bottleneck. Staff/Attitude Highly mixed. Security gate staff frequently incompetent or slow—complaints about gate processing taking excessive time. Warehouse/loading staff described as lazy, uncaring, and slow by multiple drivers. Some reports of friendly yard jockeys; some of staff being helpful. Facility

I did waiting over an hour to be unlocked from the dook. I received 14 text messages like your load is complete. Heavy load and cheap

FYI if you’re delivering sugar receiving hours 7am - 3 pm Not 24 hours. Security will call warehouse worker. Was given permission to break seal open doors at main entrance. Unloaded in 45 minutes.

Very disappointed with how this load was handled. My clean and well-maintained 2020 Utility trailer was rejected for a “soft floor” issue that does not exist. The trailer has a heavy-duty floor and is in excellent condition. They spent hours loading the trailer, then unloaded it and rejected the load, wasting several hours of my time and causing me to miss my next scheduled load. This was unfair, unprofessional, and could have been avoided with a proper inspection from the beginning.
