Appointment scheduling: 8am opens, appointments available, arrive early (6:30am check-in noted in one review) Check-in/Load: Quick loading (most reviews), but paperwork can be slow. No call system — watch for your turn and back in or wait. Loading limit around 19 pallets max. Some loads weigh over limit. Backing/Access: Tight, tight, tight. Jackknife backing required from street to dock — not beginner-friendly. Approach from Brighton St → Fox Ave (other routes are rough). Street has potholes and live train tracks. Watch for equipment in intersections. Blind side backing possible but not recommended. Parking: Minimal overnight parking. Very tight lot. Street parking available on Myrtle St curb if desperate. No nearby truck stop. Scale on north side of 4th Ave — enter from 3rd Ave to face it correctly. Scale costs: $10, $1, $10. Facility: Small dock, clean, cramped yard. Not suitable for less experienced drivers. Facility location/design problematic for big rigs. Staff: Consistently friendly and professional. Experienced loading personnel. Overall: Fast load times offset by difficult backing requirements and tight quarters. Better for experienced drivers with early morning appointments and no overnight stay needed.

Some of the reviews I'd read beforehand had me spooked. This place wasn't bad at all. Cool Dude in receiving, not bad to back in to dock. Overnite parking is scarce but I found a spot on the curb on Myrtle St. If I get sent here again I won't stress out at all.

Terrible place for parking at the dock. Hard turning and loading also slow. If you have enough time you can go and try it.
