Facility info
OPERATIONS Appointment-only facility — arrive within 30 minutes of scheduled time. Early arrivals turned away; no room to wait. Live load operation. Reefer trailers must be pre-cooled to -10°F before arrival. Load times typically 1.5–4 hours depending on product (frozen food faster, milk slower). USDA regulations cause paperwork delays, not staff. Scaling in/out required. Security guard checks trailer cleanliness at gate — dirty trailers sent to wash. Appointment changes happen without notice to driver. CHECK-IN & SAFETY Ring buzzer at shipping office door. Communicate through bulletproof glass window. Must wear hairnet and plastic booties over shoes to enter office. Guard explains procedures, especially for first-timers. Have all paperwork ready before arrival. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Very tight dock area — backing requires care and attention. Multiple trucks present makes maneuvering difficult. No overnight parking. Security staff consistently professional and helpful. Receiving office staff mixed — some helpful and friendly, others rude or slow with paperwork (30 minutes typical). Loader quality varies. Inside conditions reported as poor — poor ventilation, unpleasant odors, loud noise. Facility cleanliness concerns noted by some drivers. DIRECTIONS I-205 West to Exit 9, MacArthur Drive south 0.5 miles. Truck entrance on right at an angle — easy to miss. No signage for truck entrance. Go slow approaching entrance.
Driver reviews
Good people
Leprino Foods Company operates 24/7 and is generally trucker-friendly, especially for drivers who are familiar with the facility For pickups at the Tracy location: The entrance as shown in your screenshot with the red line is the correct way in. The guard check (black dot) is where you’ll stop first security staff here are respectful and professional with drivers. The reefer pickup dock doors blue lines can be a bit tight for new drivers, but experienced drivers usually handle it without issues. Timing tips: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Don’t arrive too early about 2 hours before your appointment is perfect. They usually assign a dock quickly. Weekends You can arrive 5–6 hours early, and they are more flexible with early check-ins. I’ve personally handled multiple deliveries here, and overall it’s a smooth facility. Security is polite, the process is organized, and they treat truckers with respect. Good shipping facility, good staff, and a positive experience overall for drivers.
I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and got a dock right away. The parking for docks was a bit tight, but I was out of there less than an hour unloading.
Not good for receiving they take to much time off load 4 hours
The person who answers the bell when you ring it to go in is very rude, I asked him to let my wife and I in so I can talk to A manager regarding hiring he wouldn't open the door and there was no other way of getting in but when I called the lady I spoke with told me to ring the bell and some one would let me in, nope not the case with that guy I tried every excuse in the book to try to go in but he would not change his mind all he said was no no no no lol. So we left oh I was dressed nice suit and tie and my wife was also dressed nice so we didn't resemble bums but we couldn't get in!
