Receiving 4 AM–12 PM. Fast unload — typically 30 mins to 1 hour. Appointments required. Don't arrive more than 2 hours early or you'll be turned away. Check in at receiving office with BOL and seal. They'll assign a door or call when ready. No overnight parking on-site. Overflow parking at nearby rest area on I-91, abandoned mall near Wendy's off Route 91, or truck stops in Hartford/Springfield/Sturbridge. Bathrooms available 24/7 in receiving office. Very tight yard — difficult backing. Some trucks parked in front of docks create obstacles. Dry goods use doors 6–9, refrigerated use doors 25–28. Staff generally friendly and professional. Receiving office staff described as helpful and polite. Yard hostlers informative. Efficient operation. Paperwork typically in hand within 1–2 hours total. Strict enforcement of rules: don't loiter in yard, use trash cans, follow receiving entrance (not employee entrance). Violators asked to leave.

Every 2-10 minutes an 18 wheeler drives by on back roads to save 3 minutes. Saturday, Sunday, any time of night. It’s Saturday at 10am now and as I am updating my review three trucks went by. This place has created a shipping lane on back roads from 84 across 190 to this location. 18 wheelers all day going through small towns, congestion at every single intersection. It’s a logistical nightmare. Stay on the mass pike and take 91 south. Back roads are not shipping lanes. I checked Google Maps, it literally only saves 3 minutes. Not accounting for all the lights and stop signs they have to go through.

Trucks pull to the stop sign. Might be lined up out to the street. Walk straight to recieving door to check in. Friendly people as well. Doors 6 to 9 tight as hell but you can do it. Fast unload. No overnight parking and a lot of MB drivers speeding in and out but that’s just how food service DCs are
