Saputo Cheese
355 Crawford Blvd, Las Cruces, NM 88007
Facility info
Appointments required. Arrive early or on time—product release delays common regardless. Some dock favoritism reported. Load/unload times all over the map. Ranges from 1-2 hours to 7+ hours. Paperwork processing especially slow—expect 45 min to 2 hours after loading finishes. Few loads complete in under 3 hours total. Drop and hook available but most are live loads. Check-in: Go left past guard, continue down driveway, turn around, park against fence on entry road. Walk to shipping/receiving office (gray door marked on side of building). Requirements: Padlock, three load locks or straps. Bring broker name and PO number. No overnight parking. No restrooms. Backing: Deep facility but plenty of maneuvering room once parked. Staff attitude: Inconsistent. Mix of friendly/helpful and dismissive. One desk staffer noted as particularly unhelpful. Odor: Strong cheese smell throughout facility and grounds. Yard condition: Tight for trucks in some areas. Generally manageable but space limitations mentioned. Facility genuinely cares about employees per community feedback, but doesn't always translate to driver experience. Bottom line: Functional but time-consuming. Budget 3-5 hours minimum for a full cycle. Go in with realistic expectations on wait times.
Driver reviews
Muy agradables y a tentos con las personas
In and out in a 2 hours, great people here! Easy to work with …
This is one of the best places I’ve ever visited the respect your time and they want their time to be respected if you go ahead of your time, they will respect you they even unload you before your appointment time. I really appreciate getting the loads to this place but unfortunately, on the way back, there is hardly any loads to California therefore, this would be my one of the last loads to Texas towards El Paso. I don’t think I will ever come back again to this location unless I get regular load from this company for both ways
