Awesome service. Great customer service and a great bunch of guys who did an amazing job
I am very saddened by my experience that I had when I went to Garvey's in Bloomsburg for a quote on a project that my husband and I wanted done for our home. I was looking forward to having our upstairs carpet removed and replaced with laminate or vinyl plank flooring. When I came to Garvey's by myself, I was met by Ron Matthews, a sales representative at the front of the showroom. As a young woman in my 20's, I am not very versed in the world of flooring, and came to Garvey's with minimal knowledge and was hoping for guidance. The attitude that I got from Ron made me feel that I was a waste of his time. I wanted to make sure that I was making the right decision (laminate vs. vinyl plank) for our home, and I felt that every time I asked a question, I was an inconvenience to him. When I had summarized the information he gave me about laminate vs. vinyl, he then began to speak about his "ChatGPT research" on the topic, and which option ChatGPT told him was the best. As a customer, it made me feel very uneasy that a flooring professional was making statements based on AI research on what is supposed to be his area of expertise.<br>Based on Ron's flooring suggestions, I had shopped around Lowes and Home Depot for additional flooring options, and was told to come back to Garvey's as they would potentially be able to negotiate a better price and compare flooring specs in order to ensure that I made the best quality choice for my home. When I returned to Garvey's later that day and spoke with Ron again, he was able to propose a lower price for my top flooring option, however the option from Home Depot was still less expensive (30+ cents cheaper per sq. ft) and had almost identical specifications. As I finished my second visit to Garvey's with Ron and thanked him for his time, he briefly turned to his coworker behind me and made a rude face directed towards me when he thought I was not looking.<br>It makes me incredibly sad to proceed with purchasing flooring from Home Depo
From sales to the delivery and installation everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I was there for wall to wall carpeting and an area rug. There was an awesome display of carpeting to choose from. I highly recommend Garvey’s Flooring.
Always a great experience with Garvey's! From sales to installers, everyone is professional, friendly and communicate well. Can't recommend them enough!
