BACKING & PARKING Tight backing maneuver off busy street — requires patience and traffic gaps. No designated staging area. Street parking only while checking in. Not suitable for long-nose trucks. Multiple reviewers note backing takes longer than load/unload time. Doable but challenging, especially during peak traffic. Come in from west side/Allen Ave/Bell St approach preferred. LOAD/UNLOAD SPEED Generally quick — most loads complete in 10-30 minutes. Some reports of 6+ hour waits. Uneven performance; speed appears inconsistent. STAFF & ATTITUDE Mixed. Many report friendly, helpful, professional shipping and office staff. Some note standoffish or dismissive attitudes. Early appointment accommodations sometimes granted. OVERNIGHT PARKING None available on-site. Police enforce noise ordinance against idling. Nearby alternatives: Gray & Kennebunk rest stops on I-95 Turnpike, or warehouse on Canco St near Portland Municipal building. FACILITY Cold storage operation. Very tight space overall — tight docks, minimal room to maneuver or park. Loading bars can get wedged if not removed. Make sure trailer is loaded fully to back to avoid weight distribution issues. Limited bathroom/amenities details in reviews. CHECK-IN Park on street, enter center door near flagpole, check in at office. Chock wheels. Staff will lock out airline before loading starts. NOTES Residential area nearby — no tolerance for overnight idling. Not suitable for oversized trucks.

These reviews about how hard it is to back into the docks are crazy. This is not that bad. Come in from the west and park on the side of the road. Go in the center door near the flag poll and check in (the people inside are very nice). Wait in your truck until they call you. Im here at 10:30am on a Monday and yes there is light traffic, but this is truck driving. Find a gap and take control of the situation. People saying this is so had and the worst place ever needs to hang there keys up. McDonald's is hiring.

Although guys in shipping office are nice and professional it's a horrible location. Have to park on street to check in, no staging area, no where to park period docks are off main road. Do yourself a favor do not come early
