Facility info

Check-in & operations Only one security person manning gate — expect 40 minutes to 3+ hours just to check in. Gate staff quality varies significantly; some professional, others consistently rude. Must arrive 1-2 hours early to make appointment times. No staging area for arriving trucks told to find parking and return later. Cannot check in more than 1 hour before appointment. Heavy construction ongoing — affects entry/exit. Drop & hook process Standard Walmart procedure: break seal, open doors, back to door, slide tandems, chock wheels, disconnect, drop trailer, move to parking area. Now required to photograph door number, chocked wheels, and disconnected trailer. Must leave CDL or truck key with receiving office. Some inconsistency in what staff actually verifies. Unload times Typically 2-5 hours from door assignment to paperwork in hand. Some drivers report 3-4 hours as standard; others wait 5+ hours with no clear reason. Freezer door availability can be an issue. Unload speed inconsistent — doesn't correlate to load size. Staff occasionally slow to notify drivers when unload complete. Staff attitude Mixed. Office staff generally polite and friendly. Security gate quality highly variable — some guards professional and efficient, others described as rude, disrespectful, and dismissive to OTR drivers. One specific afternoon-shift security guard mentioned multiple times as problematic but facility hasn't addressed. Facility experience No overnight parking. No street parking nearby. Limited wait area. Recently renovated or under heavy construction. Plenty of dock space for backing. Staff morale appears low based on service inconsistencies. Scheduling & rejections Strict about appointment windows — will reject drivers for lateness even due to weather. Conversely, once checked in, facility doesn't respect driver time constraints. Some drivers report rejection after waiting hours, then sent back and still waiting additional hours. Fair warning This is one of the slower Walmart DCs. Process-heavy. Plan for substantial time loss. Better than some Walmart locations, worse than others. Non-Walmart vendors report worse treatment than company drivers.

The 4 stars are for the receiving clerk and guard shack staff. The yard driver who spotted this trailer needs to be terminated. Had to be done on purpose. Either it was his last day or he simply hates his job. Other than that I like coming here

Rudest truckers, but staff was pleasant, especially Chad working security alone but still keeping everyone moving

Absolutely one of the worst places I’ve ever delivered to. They have zero respect for drivers’ time and their communication is a complete mess. My appointment was at 2 AM, and I’ve been parked by the dock since 3 AM waiting for instructions. No one called me, no updates, nothing.
By 6 AM, I had to call them myself just to find out what was going on. Even then, they gave me conflicting information, one person told me to wait for call so I can open door , while when I called said I have to drop the paper work at office first and wait for call and proceed to open door ( rude lady ) It’s clear they don’t have any organized process.
Avoid this place at all costs if you don’t want to waste hours and your mind .
