Appointment & Check-In Appointment times are largely meaningless — expect to wait hours for a dock assignment even if you're early or on time. Guard shack check-in is straightforward and staff generally polite. You'll receive a tracking device/transponder and directions to receiving office. Must pay lumper fee upfront via Capstone before getting a door assignment — no exceptions. Lumper fees range $139–$740+ depending on load size. Walk from staging lot to receiving office required at some points. Unloading Speed Consistently slow. Live unloads typically 4–12+ hours (some reports of 13–17 hours). Unload rate as low as 1 pallet per 30 minutes to 1 hour. Mechanical/robotic unloading equipment contributes to delays. A few rare reports of 1–2.5 hour turnarounds, but these are exceptions. Plan for a full day minimum. Facility Layout & Access Large facility with multiple dock areas (frozen, fresh, dry sides). Confusing signage — easy to get directed to wrong building. Guard shack controls traffic flow. Truck restrictions on Highway 169 and 7th Street approach; alternate routes available but worth getting directions beforehand. Plenty of maneuvering space in staging lot. Parking Overnight parking available on-site with decent space — major plus for Minneapolis area. Best to arrive early to secure spots; lot fills up, especially evenings/weekends. Empty trailers spot the lot reducing available spaces. Facilities Bathrooms: Mix of reports — some mention inside restroom access, most reference a single portable toilet (outdoor porta-potty) that is frequently described as dirty and poorly maintained. No vending machines. Staging lot has garbage bins. Staff & Atmosphere Inconsistent. Guard shack and some receiving staff described as polite and helpful. Receiving window staff frequently reported as rude, dismissive, dismissive of driver concerns, and unhelpful. Some receiving clerks actively refuse to provide required detention documentation. Lumper collection staff sometimes unprofessional (taking personal calls, language barriers, poor attitude). Overall tone: drivers are low priority. Payment & Detention Lumper fee required upfront — non-negoti

No proper restroom regardless of the weather, just a nasty port-a-potty.
It’s an absolute nightmare. If you can avoid coming here, do so. The staff are polite but very slow. My appointment was for 10:00, and I arrived at 9:00 am They assigned me a dock at 1:00 pm and finished unloading at 4:00 pm
Place is a joke. Avoid at all costs. Rude check in lady at perishable 1030am. Gave me 3 wrong check in places. Unbelievable.
Nice people, but total disregard for truckers time. Get here as soon as ya can cause appointment times dont mean shit. Over 4 hours still no door and I was half hour early oh and lumper fee was almost 300 dollars for me to sit and play with myself. Stay away, the other reviews aren't bullshit
