Facility info
Check-in & Scheduling Appointment system in place but don't count on it — consistent reports of long waits even with scheduled times. Check-in process can have delays; arrive early but expect to wait regardless. Some drivers processed early, others delayed hours. Communication between security and receiving is spotty — arrivals not always logged properly. Unload Times Highly variable. Standard range 2-3 hours for straightforward loads, but common reports of 4-7+ hour waits. Sam's Club deliveries notably slower than Walmart. A few drivers report quick turnarounds; many others report severe delays with minimal updates. Operations Drop and hook available. Live unload at some doors. Paperwork processing can add significant time (4+ hours reported for POD). No overnight parking — local police don't permit it. Facility & Yard Lot is small. Loaded trailers parked across lot from dock area. No parking available for waiting; you'll be on the street or idling at dock. Easy to find, well-organized security at gate. Staff Inconsistent. Guard shack staff generally friendly and helpful. Receiving staff varies widely — some courteous and professional, others reported as rude, dismissive, or passive-aggressive. Phone communication poor; shipping/receiving unresponsive to status inquiries. Bottom Line Standard Walmart DC experience. Expect 2-3 hours minimum, possibly much longer. Don't plan tight connections. Bring patience and snacks. Experience depends heavily on which receiving staff is working.

Delivered parts here. Was told truck driver s had to help unload deliveries. They way it was loaded... it was impossible for me alone to move stuff... think I hurt my back trying... the staff here were forced to unload. I drive trucks so I should not need to help move heavy loads. They have the forklifts here. I do not. Think they need to change this policy. At least get a portable cheap dock on wheels so the employers here do not have to work so hard. Break our backs. Just some advice.
Typical large chain store issues. Walmart is never fun, but this one is particularly bad. Got here at 6:30 am for a 7 am Appointment. It’s 1145 and I was informed that the crew are all on lunch. The women behind the desk, both say this with smiles on their faces. I’ve dropped here over 20 times in the last three years. I have never had a good experience. And they do not pay detention. Ever. It’s Walmart and they can do whatever they want! If you’re a company driver, this matters. If you’re an owner operator, hopefully you’ve got paid enough for the load to make it worth your while. The part that sucks the most is that they hold you hostage here. You aren’t allowed to Bobtail Offsite. You’re not allowed to idle. Even if it’s 115 out. Basically, these are the worst form of human beings society has to offer.
I asked for a rotation and balance and oil change for my kids car. They denied the balance due to uneven tread. When I asked to see they denied to show me and made it seem that I was asking to much. When I ask to speak to a manager I waited for over 30 minutes and no one came. This store has some of the sloppiest employees and attitude. On top of others standing there with complaints. When I asked for the employees name they mocked and laughed. Very unprofessional.
Walmart/Sam’s DC. I’ve only done drop and hooks here. Paperwork is usually ready at gate, otherwise pick it up at shipping office. There is a single axle scale at the South end of the building which I always use since loads are often close to 80K.
