I bought 2 Commercial line AO Smith Water heaters in July of 2024. A hybrid and a regular. The regular one started leaking at about 16months due to corrosion of some kind. It was replaced easily under warranty, but I had to pay labor for removal and install. The hybrid had an ECC error at about 18mo and was replaced easily under warranty, but again I had to pay labor. The quality issues have now cost me $1,100 in replacement labor in 18mo of ownership. Customer service is great, the warranty on the tank is great, but a 12mo labor warranty (and zero for replacements) is incredibly disappointing considering the cost of labor to correct the issue. If I have another failure I will go with a different brand.
Calling and emailing AOSmoth for weeks for a warranty refund as they stated they had no one to come and service the warranty<br>And said if I provide all the required they would refund payment of $198.02 refund would be sent for upfront paid repair<br>There phone numbers have been disconnected and the employees I’ve talked to keep passing the bulk. Worst company service<br>They only sell hot waters. Their warranty is bogus
Got AO Sith combo boiler call AO Smth wait 2 hours than system hung up on me . Terrible customer service terrible water heaters WILL NOT EVER SELL OR RECOMMEND EVER AGAIN!!! Total 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
