Operations Live unload operations, 24/7 Check-in at guard shack with sign-in procedure Two warehouse locations on same property; signage confusing, may direct you to wrong building initially Load times highly variable: ranges from quick turnaround to 8+ hours on dock Some loads ready on time, others delayed significantly (10+ hour waits reported) Will not allow bobtailing with empty trailer Dock wait times frequently exceed 2-3 hours; drivers report priority given to yard drivers over appointment times Facility experience Overnight parking: gravel lot available beside building; gates locked Overnight stay possible but not encouraged (10+ hour overnight wait documented) Staff attitude inconsistent: some drivers praise professionalism and friendliness, others describe rudeness, impatience, lack of responsiveness Shipping/receiving department cited multiple times for poor attitude and slow service No power issues reported recently, but one incident of extended unresponsiveness at shipping/receiving door Yard conditions: adequate maneuvering room once past entry, but tight access areas; limited space for dropping dolly legs; trailers packed close together Door identification unclear; may require knocking and repeated follow-ups to get direction to correct dock Navigation Do not rely on truck GPS—will route through residential neighborhood near downtown Use trucker atlas or McIver Road to Old Florence Road route instead GPS routing described as "ridiculous" Other Yard drivers may cut line regardless of your hours situation Some employees noted as going "out of their way" to follow up when orders ready; recommendation to call ahead before arriving TA and Pilot truck stops 5 miles away

Don’t come here expecting nice people to deal with. It definitely won’t happen

Their signs are wrong and will send you to the wrong building at first, if you tell them you followed the signs you'll just be told they need updated. No big deal you go in the drop yard turn around and head to the right building. My load was supposed to be a drop and but they did it as a live unload not sure if that was an their end or my companies end. Both ladies at the two security check ins were nice. The lady and gentlemen in the shipping office were kinda rude and made me feel like I was annoying them by having them do their jobs. So I was sent somewhere else in the same lot. Had to wait for a dock door to open, no biggie. No one told me to drop my trailer, I knocked on the door back there for like 15 minutes before giving up. Two of the yard drivers talked to me so I dropped the trailer and put the yellow jackstand under it. My light never turned red was left on green the whole time. It took about two hours to get unloaded and because the light never went red I had to keep checking it myself. Plenty of room to move around in the yard but getting to it is a little tight.

If you’re unloading rolls here be aware that the yard drivers will cut you off to jump in line. They won’t care that you drove all night and are low on hours. They do get you unloaded pretty quick once you get a door. The rest of the people here are always real nice. Don’t rely on your truck navigation to get in or out of the facility. Use a truckers atlas and use your brain.

Usually I have some issue when I come to this place. First, the location is ridiculous. Your truck GPS wants to make you turn down a road near downtown, which basically brings you into a neighbourhood. You can do that, but I would just suggest taking McIver to Old Florence. Second, most of the people I’ve met at the shipping location are usually not nice. There’s a couple who are, but most of them aren’t. Finally, they usually have the load ready on time, but my last visit there was not the case. I had to wait from 9pm to 7am the next day for the load to be ready, and it was supposed to be a preloaded trailer, done at 9. It’s not terrible, but not great.
