The process begins with a full trailer inspection, so be sure it’s clean inside and in good repair. The drop/pickup lots are dirt, and can be messy with recent precipitation. Although there are onsite scales, an overweight preloaded trailer is not uncommon. Yes, it’s frustrating they don’t check the weight, but they don’t care, because if you must be reworked, they don’t pay detention.
