Appointments don't guarantee dock time—expect 2–7+ hour waits even with scheduled slot. FCFS system in practice despite posted times. Live load only. Check in at 5–6 AM; receiving starts 0600. No drop and hook. Disorganized dock assignment; avoid dock 3 (automatic move to back of line). Back in at open dock if directed. No bathrooms accessible to drivers (must ask staff for escort to restroom). No overnight parking. Extremely tight, narrow entrance/exit. Sharp right turn off Berteau requires extreme wide swing or concrete barrier will hit trailer. Tight parking lot with employees moving around. Arrive very early morning or night to avoid traffic/pedestrian congestion. Unload speed varies wildly—ranges from 40 minutes to 8+ hours depending on load readiness. Staff communication poor; load readiness times constantly change. Tandems positioned forward and axles angled, not at back. Facility located in residential neighborhood with heavy pedestrian/vehicle traffic. Street access difficult during business hours.

The location is a bit of a nightmare to get to and definitely not for those who are of the faint of heart or poorly aware of the spatial needs of maneuvering a semi truck. When you turn off of Kostner and onto West Berteau, SWING EXTREMELY WIDE OR ELSE THE CONCRETE BARRIER ON YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE WILL MESS UP YOUR TRAILER. Once you get inside the facility, it's quite tight but not terrible; you just gotta be patient and time your movements and if need be, the staff will be more than happy to help you back up. Unloading is fairly quick in the morning. I'm not going to say to never book a load delivering to here because that would be doing this place a great injustice (the people here are very nice and they're willing to help you back up), But just do know that you're going to have to really be on your A-game and be aware of your surroundings. Be patient, be calculated, be slow and deliberate in your movement, and you'll be just fine. The smell is not as bad as other people in the reviews try to make it out to be.
Omg be careful drivers, almost hit the bridge to make that sharp right turn, i think that is only way to get to this place, just heads up, occupy whole intersection to make that sharp right turn and i think this is the busiest facility i ever seen, there cars and pedestrians( workers) constantly on your way, i've seen lots of damages on corner of that bridge, back at this place, i understand koch needs to unload or load their trucks first but you should honor you appointment time, i arrived here couple hours before my appointment still here after 6 hours, loaders saying my load is not ready, if load is not going to be ready by appointment time why would you post it and make appointment time, you guys should start value truckers time

unloaded quickly appointment was for 11 arrived at 03:00 at night, because I knew it would be difficult to get there I'll tell you honestly, I don't know how I would have gotten there in the morning very difficult journey unloading started at 05:30 empty 07:00 am
