Operator: GEODIS
Facility info
OPERATIONS Appointment only. Early arrivals (more than 15 mins) turned away; must return at appointment time. Check-in 15 mins before appointment minimum. Guard shack check-in required with driver's license, trailer license plate number, truck/trailer numbers, color of truck. Live loads require H-series pickup number and 57-series confirmation number in system; broker must have driver name registered or you'll be turned around (can add 30 mins to 1+ hour). Fingerprinting required. Slow moving check-in process backs up traffic on Morgan Lakes Boulevard. Long wait times between 3pm-5pm (shift change gap with no activity). Drop and hook available but backed up with paperwork delays. Wait times highly variable and unpredictable: 45 mins to 2 hours for fast turnarounds, but 4-7 hours is common. Many reports of 6+ hour waits. Loading speed inconsistent — can be quick or drag on for hours. Multiple reports of staff taking lunch breaks mid-load or delaying dock assignments. Paperwork delays frequent after loading complete. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Street parking available — trucks regularly park along roadside waiting to check in, creating one-lane traffic hazard on Morgan Lakes Boulevard. Some reports of trucks backed up down the street for extended periods. Indoor parking not available. Clean restroom at receiving office. Facility yard is spacious with adequate dock spacing. Guard shack staff polite and helpful (mentioned in some reviews), but office staff described as lazy, rude, disrespectful, and disorganized. Mixed bag on dock worker attitudes. Staff disorganization noted — left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Multiple reports of staff sleeping on job or moving slowly. Security is extensive (fingerprints, photocopies of license, detailed paperwork). One incident of theft reported (iPad stolen by warehouse employee). Road conditions rough in some areas. Construction ongoing with lane restrictions.
Driver reviews
Got unloaded In a reasonable amount of time.
This is one of the most frustrating and disorganized shipping facilities I have dealt with in Savannah, GA.

Drivers, if you are expecting a fast, professional, and well-organized loading process, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place if you have a choice.

The security/check-in process is extremely unfriendly, careless, and poorly managed. I arrived two hours early for my pickup appointment and was told to come back at 3:00 PM. I came back at 3:00 PM and was told there was no door available and to return at 3:30 PM. I came back at 3:30 PM, and then I had to wait outside for another 30 minutes with eight trucks already ahead of me.

The worst part is that trucks are forced to wait outside on the street, where police can come and issue tickets if drivers are blocking the road. Getting onto the property is nearly impossible when they are backed up, and there seems to be no real system or responsibility in the check-in process.

This was my third time here, and all three times I promised myself I would never come back. If I had known the address before booking the load, I would never have accepted it. This location is now on my personal blacklist, and I will never come back here again.
Over 45 min just to check in at guard , it look that it gone be really bad experience , after 45 min they told me to came back at 1500 , it was 1435 🤣🤣🤣 this people are a joke
It was loaded over the course of an hour and a half.
