Facility info
WAIT TIMES Consistently long — 8-48+ hours common. Many loads miss appointment windows by significant margins. No reliable way to get status updates during wait. CHECK-IN & DROP PROCEDURES Drop trailer in center of lot, bobtail to office. Multiple trips required — typically 5-7 in/out cycles between gate, office, trailer, and back. Get gate pass, fill paperwork, retrieve trailer info, verify load details, return to office for bills, then hook and leave. Tandems must be slid before entering facility or at gate — not allowed in yard. Safety vest mandatory. Gate guards inconsistent with instructions and requirements. REQUIREMENTS & FEES Clean trailer required — guards inconsistent on washout receipt enforcement. No on-site washout anymore (recently removed). $31.50-$45 docking/handling fee charged via EFS card, not cash. Some loads have additional late fees. Pallet chops require washout. Reefer must be fueled and running. OVERNIGHT PARKING None on-site. Forced to leave and wait for call. Truck stop 0.5-1 mile away (Deluxe Truck Stop nearby). Limited parking in surrounding area. FACILITY CONDITIONS Paved lot with vehicle/foot traffic congestion. No restrooms accessible to drivers. No vending machines. Trash issues — drivers asked not to dump at nearby parking areas. Some reports of poor lot maintenance. STAFF Office staff generally described as nice and helpful. Gate guards inconsistent — some helpful, others unhelpful or rude; same guards repeat but give contradictory instructions. Yard personnel vary in professionalism. Some language barrier reported. LOAD OPERATIONS Drop and hook only. Brokers often give inaccurate ready times. Product frequently not ready at appointment. Bills/USDA paperwork often delayed even after load marked ready. No scale on-site for weight verification — must go to nearby facility. One review noted food safety concerns at plant level. LOGISTICS Nearby services: Deluxe Truck Stop (washout $41, fuel, showers, scale, food — closed Sundays), Loves/Casey's 7 miles away, Walmart nearby. Website available to check
