Facility info
WAIT TIMES: Unpredictable and often brutal. Most common experience: 6–11 hours. Frequent reports of 16–24+ hours, sometimes 30+ hours. A few drivers report quick loads (under 4 hours), but these are exceptions. Drop-and-hook loads frequently aren't actually ready despite being advertised as such. Appointment scheduling: Appointments are given but not reliably honored. Drivers report arriving on time only to wait hours. Some show up early and still wait full day+. No consistent penalty for facility delays. Check-in process: Report to office/guard shack first. Paperwork handling is slow and disorganized—multiple reports of missing check-in sheets, lost driver info, or miscommunication between buildings. Some drivers never receive call to dock despite checking in. Live load vs. drop and hook: Advertised as drop-and-hook but frequently operates as live load with long waits. When genuinely drop-and-hook, trailer may not be ready as promised. Safety/security requirements: Reflective vest or shirt mandatory. No pets allowed outside truck while on property (must go outside gate). Guard shack conducts vehicle searches. Scale on-site at guard shack (manual calculation, not per-axle readout). Parking: Overnight parking available. Can leave loaded trailer and bobtail elsewhere or do 10-hour reset on-site. Walmart nearby (1 mile) allows daytime parking. Restrooms: 24-hour access, generally clean. Located inside shipping office. Staff attitude: Highly inconsistent. Some reviews praise friendly, respectful, professional staff offering beverages/snacks. Others report rude office staff, unprofessional security guards, lazy workers, poor communication, and dismissive attitudes toward driver time constraints. Security has been accused of aggressive behavior and unprofessionalism in multiple reviews. Facility condition: Modern, relatively new (3 years old), clean concrete lot, ample space to maneuver and back, well-paved. Better-maintained than typical Tyson locations. Load quality issues: Reports of mislabeled product, overweight loads, reefer pre-cooling instruction confusion, missing load locks after loading, and damaged
