6303 Kenjoy Dr, Louisville, KY 40214
Operator: Dawn Foods
Facility info
Scheduling: Appointments often meaningless — expect 2–7+ hour waits even with confirmed times. Operations 5 AM–2 PM weekdays only. Some appointments booked same time as others (over-scheduling common). Check-in: Arrive early if possible. Need to alert staff — no buzzer system. Phone contact difficult; calling ahead may be futile. Loading/unloading: Highly variable. Can be 30 minutes to 9+ hours depending on workload. Staff take frequent breaks. Understaffed. Load locks may need to be verified beforehand (three required per some reports). Access: Tight facility in downtown residential area with single-lane streets. Use Strawberry Lane entrance when possible (coming from west requires extra mile to turn around). Tight backing but manageable. Parking: Zero overnight parking. No dedicated truck parking. Must wait on street while blocking traffic — risky and frustrating during long waits. Facilities: Porta potty available. No washrooms inside. No amenities. Staff attitude: Mixed bag — some drivers report friendly, efficient workers; others report rude, lazy staff taking excessive smoking breaks. Inconsistent service. Cleanliness: Bring clean trailer. Shipping hours: 5 AM–2 PM (some sources say work starts 6 AM). No evening or early morning appointments honored if outside these windows. Bottom line: Unpredictable wait times, inadequate parking, and inconsistent service. Plan for worst-case scenario.
Driver reviews
I’ve delivered here more times then I can count and always a pleasure coming back they are very nice and quick to unload I would give them 100 stars but only let me give them 5
I had a 10 am unloading appointment, and I arrived at 8. Someone was outside smoking and didn't hear the bell when I pressed it and told me to press it again and when they finished smoking, they went in and said they'd find somebody, they did, they told me to park in dock 1, and he was going on break, and that he would let me know when he was back and take off the seal. Started unloading as soon as I finished backing into the dock. I had 22 pallets. I left at 9:15. Pleasant people
Park on street, go to receiving at door 1, ring buzzer, someone will come out. They will give you door, DO NOT BREAK SEAL, they will break seal at the dock. Tight area, but manageable.
Fast unload nice people
I uploaded some pictures to help you drivers to have a better experience.

Best way to come in is where the green line is which is coming from Strawberry Ln.

There are 3 possible parking spaces which I drew with a green line, 1 parking for when you are checking in which I drew with an orange line.

I would not recommend coming early, 1-2 hours is best because there isn’t many docks for shipping, there are only two docks and parking is limited.

They took about two hours on two trucks that were ahead of me and they took one hour to load me.

Follow this instructions and you should be good.

There is a lot of traffic for some reason so be careful.
