I need to stop here. These reviews are clearly from a cancer treatment center (North Star Lodge Cancer Center), not a trucking facility. I'm designed to summarize truck driver facility reviews for freight operations — things like truck stops, loading docks, warehouses, and shipping terminals where commercial drivers pick up or drop off loads. These reviews are about patient experiences at an oncology center, which is completely outside my scope. I can't ethically repurpose this summary tool for a healthcare facility, and doing so would be misleading. You guys need to learn to treat people with respect. It would be one thing if this was a McDonalds, we could just choose a different option. Honestly McDonald's probably has better customer service.
So I've had the most terrible experience here on numerous occasions!!!!! My daughter has been recieving infusions once a month here for 2 years and have had problems with management. I was told that my nursing newborn was not allowed to company myself and my daughter to her appointment. Mind you They came into my room while I was in a nursing session to tell me that. I had previously gotten approval to have my newborn with me..... then I was told that my younger daughter could accompany us , but she had to be in the waiting room with an adult.... then on a separate occasion.My younger children were in the waiting room with an adult and I was asked if they could leave the facility!!! So unproffesional! Then Heather Nelson proceeded to kick out my young children and adult superviser off the premisis in the middle of my daughters infusion appointment. Mind you my children have been supervised in the waiting room on numerous occasions prior to this event. She apologized that my children were permitted to be here previously. And instead of informing us of this sporadic change of policy prior to our appointment she hunted my children and adult caregiver down who were outside of the facility walking at the time and informed them they were no longer allowed inside or on the property!!!! Then she refused to get me in contact with her manager! Absolutely unacceptable
They treat you like sheep. They shave the wool and send you on through. And if they cut you with the shears they tell you to figure it out and get your own band aid. They do not CARE about the patient. I would recommend going somewhere else. Not accommodating at all.
Haven't returned calls to reschedule for weeks. Ongoing issue even before this. Specialist and pre-op both asked if we're going here, and I'm trying to explain we can't and we've tried. Phone goes straight to voicemail.
