OPERATIONS Appointment only (not FCFS despite some conflicting older reviews). Doors open 7am. Live load operation with single dock. Fast turnaround once docked—typically 20-30 minutes. LTL loads may get priority, pushing scheduled pickups back. Early arrivals may get loaded before appointment time if dock is free. One review flagged overweight loads (47,000 lbs vs 43,300 lbs on paperwork)—weigh immediately after pickup. FACILITY & YARD Tight backing situation with challenging geometry. Docks 2-4 require sliding tandems forward before backing in, especially with wind skirts. Long-frame trucks and side-skirt trailers risk scraping landing gear and skirts. Yard is gravelly/muddy when wet. One dock means bottlenecks during multi-truck arrivals; waits can exceed 3+ hours. No overnight parking. No driver facilities. DIRECTIONS Only viable truck route: Exit 166 off I-90 (W 117th St), go north to Berea Rd, right on Berea to Madison, right on Madison about 1-3 miles to facility on left. Reverse route to exit. Side streets are not truck-friendly and create hazards. STAFF & EXPERIENCE Consistently described as friendly, polite, and respectful. Generally responsive to early arrivals. One manager reportedly indifferent to trailer damage caused by dock design. Facility has provided written exit instructions due to local road restrictions. OTHER Pest control issues noted in at least one review. One dock damage incident involved facility not accepting responsibility. Dock may have been improved per one recent review.
