APPOINTMENT & CHECK-IN 2-hour early check-in window standard (some flexibility reported for late arrivals, but strict rescheduling if you miss the window entirely). Appointments required. Check-in at guard shack with valid ID/Real ID. Can check in up to 2 hours early OR up to 2 hours late. Gate staff quick and professional. UNLOADING Highly variable. Range: 30 minutes to 6+ hours. Most common: 1-2 hours. Second shift reportedly slower (5+ hours minimum). Lumper fee required and mandatory (pay before unloading starts). Quality of service depends on staffing shift. OPERATION DETAILS Live unload operation. Process: check in → staging area → wait for door assignment call → back to dock with paperwork in trailer → pay lumper fee → unload → wait for green light signal → retrieve signed paperwork from trailer → exit. Docks easy to back into. Plenty of maneuvering room. OVERNIGHT PARKING No overnight parking allowed. Large staging area for daytime waiting. TA truck stop nearby (3-5 miles away) has 300+ parking spots—use for overnight stays. FACILITY CONDITIONS Clean, spacious, newly constructed/renovated warehouse. Well-maintained grounds. Security presence significant. BATHROOMS Available. Generally clean but inconsistent stocking—soap and toilet paper not guaranteed. GATE DIRECTIONS (Critical) Take I-95 exit 86A (Sliding Hill Rd/VA-656). DO NOT take exit 89—truck-prohibited zone, police will be called. From 86A: go east approximately 2 miles, look for Wegmans entrance on left (past airport). Exit driveway onto Sliding Hill Rd turning right to return to I-95. GPS may route you incorrectly; ignore and follow exit 86A only. STAFF Gate and security staff consistently described as friendly, professional, welcoming, patient. Explain procedures clearly. Helpful demeanor. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Canadian drivers: must have port entry number or will be turned away. Pay lumper fee before unloading begins. SAFETY NOTE One report of fire evacuation

This place is by far, the best DC I've ever delivered to🌟 Judging from VA's roads, you would think it would be a tin can kinda place but it's so big, you could do semi-doughnuts without hitting anything lol! The People at check-in are super courteous, professional and efficient. Unloading was quick and uneventful and docks are roomy and tons of room to maneuver! Thank you to those who reviewed about taking exit 86A-B . That was very helpful for a first timer. I'll deliver/load up here all day everyday!! Thank you Wegmans VA!! You guys rock!! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was late 45 min due to contstructon on 1 95 and i was send back schede for the next day took 6hrs to ofload 6 pallets
Very fast friendly service. I showed up with a load of water at 10PM, and was in a door and unloaded quickly. I left the facility at 11:30PM. The people in the guard shack were very friendly and gave very detailed instructions on their procedures, which is a plus. I asked about overnight parking and they said it wasn’t allowed, even though they have a bunch of empty space there. I was able to find parking at the TA north of here. There were a bunch of empty spaces at that hour.
