Check in at guard shack with: driver's license, appointment number, truck/trailer tag numbers, delivery number. Wait times brutal and unpredictable. 1–3+ hours to get a dock. 2–8+ hours for unload. Paperwork delays another 1–3 hours. Appointment times frequently not honored. Once assigned a dock, don't open doors or break seal until staff clears you. They'll check seals before you proceed. Overnight parking available on 556–551 side. Real bathrooms there (not porta-potties). Street parking after 5 AM no longer allowed; park inside facility and walk to guard shack. Staff attitude mixed—some helpful, many rude or dismissive. Security guard typically friendlier than office staff. Facility is congested, one-way traffic. Tight maneuvering space but doable. Yard disorganized; trucks park illegally by no-parking signs. Area surrounded by strict truck restrictions. Route approach carefully—follow truck route signs from I-287 Exit 5. Starting September 2024: $175 parking fee if you don't exit within 30 minutes of finish. You must leave premises immediately after unload—no loitering.
