Trailer Requirements Food-grade rated trailer mandatory—no holes, damp spots, odors, or dirt. Rejected otherwise. Must be spotless or come back after washout. Metal repairs only, not tape. Check-In & Operations Gate B (south side) for check-in. OTR drivers get paperwork from shipping office upstairs using delivery number. Must have appointment details and hi-visibility vest. Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm only. Limited but manageable space. Load Type & Speed Live load (drop and hook no longer available). Highly variable: 20 minutes to 6+ hours. Load is heavy—bring straps. Must disconnect and park next to trailer once docked. Tandems slide to rear. Wait Times Inconsistent. Some loaded in 30–40 minutes. Others report 5–6 hour waits despite appointments. Facility Gated industrial park (IFF/SOLAE/DuPont). Dirt lot with potholes at entrance. Good lighting. Bathrooms available next to S&R office. Drivers lounge with seating. No overnight parking onsite. Nearby truck route restrictions and active railroad crossings—follow posted routes. Staff Loading crew generally friendly and professional when you reach dock. Few staff members standout for speed and courtesy. Gate security is the consistent weak point. Parking No onsite overnight parking. Shell station ~10 miles away on Route 69 has good parking.
