Facility info
OPERATIONS Appointments strictly enforced—arrive exactly at appointment time or earlier arrivals turned away; no early check-in allowed (typically 1 hour before appointment not permitted). Unloading wait times consistently 5–8 hours minimum, often stretching to 10+ hours for small loads (2–5 pallets); delays start 1.5+ hours after appointment time. Lumper fee charged; payment required via text link or at gate (fees reported $200–$475); paperwork and "green light" release delayed hours after unload completion. No communication when unload is complete—must watch for green light signal yourself; billing paperwork often missing from trailer. FACILITY EXPERIENCE No overnight parking on-site; street parking risks $750+ tickets from local police; nearest truck stop 5 miles away ($25/day or limited free parking with paperwork). One porta-potty available on-site; no full bathroom facilities or driver amenities mentioned. Gate and yard staff inconsistent—some helpful, many rude or indifferent; security enforces check-in rules strictly but offers minimal direction; communication breakdowns common. Backing challenging: tight dock spacing, multiple trucks competing for doors, impatient yard personnel; requires careful maneuvering and patience. Heavy construction traffic in area. Facility conditions: rodent issues reported; dock area scattered with pallets and debris; tight yard with limited room to maneuver.
Driver reviews
Unload - 15 min. Waiting for bills all day. Terrible!
As other reviewers have made mention….this is like your typical food warehouse. Entering the facility was easy, if you can ignore the super rude underpaid and overworked guard shack occupants. Got unloaded fairly quick, but just like Kroger’s and HEB and other grocers…paperwork took forever. I’m at 1 hour since finished unloading and have paid overpriced lumper and no paperwork. I’m hoping I get out of here soon.
Its still slow on the unload and paperwork. In dock for 6 hrs
Wait time is insane. Got here at 6:45 am and it’s 10:30 and still got a red light. They sent me lumper fee for 278 door 126, I asked to correct the door and to make sure it’s my lumper and now my price went up to 324 for lumper. They charged me 32 dollars for straps and I dont use straps. There is no turned pallets or whatever else they charge us for. Capstone is a ripoff plain and simple. I definitely left this same review on your survey. There hasn’t been a capstone lumper fee yet in my 6 yrs that has been under 225. We need to start charging them for a waste of time.
