Fast check in park on side walk to guard shack everything fast and smooth
Truckers making a pick-up at this cold storage warehouse: bring a clean trailer and at least 3/4 full of fuel for reefer unit. there is a trailer washout before you get to Tyson (washout not open 24hrs, so plan accordingly). Park your truck to the right, on the street in front of Tyson (as shown in photo). walk to the Tyson security office and check in with them to see if your load is ready or not. You may or may not be picking up at the cold storage. Tyson will let you know the status of your load. if load not ready, you will be asked to turn on your reefer unit, slide your trailer tandoms to the rear and pull into the gate by security door a trailer inspection (please stay close to the right to allow the yard trucks to drive by you. don't block the gate entrance). if you're a live load, have your unit pre-cooled to 0° start stop. If you're a drop and hook, you will be told to drop your trailer in the yard you passed coming down the street (photo) procedure here is pretty simple. follow the steps and your day will go smoothly. keep in mind, just about all Tyson plants have a deadline for the load to be ready. if you get there a day early, you may be waiting a day for the load. Loads are not always ready early. example, my load has a window of 2/28/26 @ 00:01 to 3/01/26 by 4:15 am. tyson has that window to be ready by 4:15 but can be sooner if production is on schedule.
To long time to loading like 8 hours and very round people no restroom and also 2 hours only waiting paperwork avoid this place 👎👎bullshit
