Facility info
Drop and hook: Fast, typically 30 mins to under 2 hours. Efficient process, easy to navigate. Live load: Problematic. Common complaints of 4-10+ hour waits. Many drivers report being told to wait for text instructions that never arrive, forcing them to monitor trailer lights themselves. Avoid if possible. Check-in: Arrives via text message system with door assignments. System frequently malfunctions—staff will hand-write info as workaround. Gate wait times variable: 30 mins to 2+ hours depending on traffic. Arrive early. Staff: Generally friendly and helpful at gate/welcome center. Notable exceptions—some reports of rude or dismissive behavior, especially weekends. Attitudes have improved significantly over past 1-2 years. Facility conditions: Clean, well-organized, easy to maneuver. Trailer drop numbers may be hard to spot in winter. Scale on exit. Overnight parking available nearby (gas station off interstate, street parking options). Safety/operations: Be on time for appointments. New employees or keypad system rollout may have caused service degradation in recent months. P&G personnel transition from Kenco management noted as potential concern by some drivers. Bottom line: Reliable for drop and hook. Live loads are a gamble—prepare for extended waits and unclear communication on pickup status.
Driver reviews
Check in process is terrible. All of the signs are misleading and conflicting. One sign says you need a 451 OR 320 number. Another sign says you justtl need a 320 number. I remember from last time that their numbers change often, so I assumed my 321 number was correct. Well, come to find out, the sign inside says 321 number, so I was right - but it's only for pickup, while for delivery you can have a 451 OR 998 number. I didn't have a 451, but I did have a 998 number. It didn't work. The guy in the office told me and the other person where the 451 number should be on he paperwork, still neither of us could find it. The office guy had to take our paperwork and point it out in a very frustrated and condescending manner. It turns out that both copies of the BoL look IDENTICAL, except that one copy has the 451 number and for whatever reason the other copy does not. It's just a really bad system. On the other hand, it's in quite a nice and peaceful location.
This was a good shipper. 3:30 pm appointment and I arrived at 1, loaded by 3:25
