Seafrigo Cold Storage - Elizabeth
900 Fairmount Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07201
Operator: Seafrigo Cold Storage
Facility info
Check in with plate numbers for tractor and trailer. Can arrive ~1 hour before appointment, sometimes earlier depending on workload. Once on dock, expect 15 mins to 1 hour unload. If freight is staged, 30 mins or less. Live drop and hook only — reefers only, dry vans rejected. Appointment required. Overnight parking available (but some recent reports say it's stopped or restricted — verify on arrival). Clean bathrooms at facility and inside shipping office. Staff attitude varies widely: mostly friendly and professional, but can be slow on door assignments and have reputations for long wait times. Plenty of room to maneuver and stage. Notable landmark: huge Seafrigo sign on building. Precool reefers to minus 10 degrees before arrival.
