Facility info

Operations Appointment scheduling required but often backing occurs well after scheduled time. Live unload with Capstone lumper service—lumper fees $220–$431 depending on pallet count. Check-in process straightforward: park on street, walk to guard shack, wait for door assignment via call. Wait times highly variable—15 minutes to 2 hours for door, then 30 minutes to 7+ hours for unload depending on day/load/dock assignment. Paperwork processing frequently slow; drivers report waiting 1–3 hours after unload completion for bills. Facility Experience Overnight street parking available but security concerns documented—multiple reports of trailer break-ins while parked overnight. Two portable bathrooms on-site, described as unclean. Guard shack staff consistently praised as pleasant and helpful. Receiving office and warehouse workers have mixed reviews—some friendly and efficient, others described as slow or dismissive. Dock backing extremely tight, especially doors 21–39 (frozen section). Doors beyond 33 particularly problematic; experienced drivers report 20+ minute backing attempts. Non-frozen side has adequate space. Forward clearance severely limited; disconnecting tractors sometimes necessary for adjacent trucks to exit. Facility undergoing construction that may impact operations. GPS routing may direct to non-viable road—use Malone Street approach. Critical Issues Unload times wildly inconsistent and frequently exceed 4–5 hours, consuming entire workdays and preventing subsequent pickups. Frozen dock congestion worst in early morning. Some drivers report preferential treatment for Sysco-branded trucks versus OTR. Lumper fees considered high by most; breakdown/counting process tedious. Street parking has documented safety issues including theft and break-ins.

The gard shack lady is very nice. Docking for frozen is extremely tight because pups are parked to close in front of the doors. Typical Sysco unload time. 4 hrs on a half loaded trailer. And they do charge a lumper service. Which I like to call paid for parking.

One star because the people are nice but the unload time is terrible. Get ready to sit here most of the day and get a 10hr break. Won't come back here again. Took almost 7 hours just to begin unloading my truck.

Not sure what is bad about this place. I was in and out in no time. I would definitely come back

Would give more stars however they took forever on 1/4 of a trailer and also the area for truckers to back up to the door on perishable is ridiculous
