Facility info
Exit 9 off I-485, opened July 2023 Appointment required—strictly enforced. 30+ minutes late means reschedulement, potentially a week out. Penalty fees assessed for missed windows. Drop and hook operation. Early check-in allowed (5 am start time) but unloading won't begin until appointment time. Check in at gate with appointment number, ID, and paperwork—missing any gets you turned away. Guard shack check-in can add 30+ minute wait during shift changes. Once assigned to door, placement happens quickly. Unload times inconsistent—reported anywhere from under an hour to 4+ hours. Staff occasionally halt work for breaks mid-load. Some drivers experience hour-plus detention charges even when delays are facility's fault. Limited overnight parking outside gate. Street parking on Todd Road available with guard approval (dead end, no enforcement issues reported). Walking distance between assigned parking and check-in can be substantial. Restrooms clean. Lounge area near door 35 with vending machines. Staff professionalism mixed—generally courteous and respectful, though some reports of dismissive behavior during night shift transitions. Guards apologize when issues occur. Not suitable for walk-in freight or public pickups despite Best Buy branding confusion.

Decided to make the hour drive here instead of waiting several days for a fridge to arrive at my local store. Once I got onto the property there were signs clearly marking where to go. Both employees I interacted with were very professional and kind. They loaded my fridge with a cart that raised it to the exact height of my pickup truck bed, making loading a breeze. The box the fridge was in didn’t have any damage, and with the airport basically next door I’m sure that was due to limited ground transport. I will strongly consider making all my large future purchases here.
