Facility info
OPERATIONS Drop and hook only (some reviews mention live unload — verify current status). Appointment windows typically 8-10 hours but loads often ready only at end of window or later. No live communication — have to walk in repeatedly to check load status; facility won't take your number. Receiving starts 22:00. Have order number and driver's license ready at security. Reefer must be 3/4 full minimum. Load bars reportedly go missing — don't leave them in trailer. WAIT TIMES Highly inconsistent. Some loads ready 2-4 hours early; many ready only at end of appointment window or 2-3 hours past it. One driver waited 11 hours (8:30 AM to 7:53 PM). Appointment times don't reliably predict when you'll actually load. Plan to lose most of your appointment window. FACILITY EXPERIENCE Very dirty and dusty throughout. Massive potholes and mud everywhere — lot conditions hazardous, especially in dark. Tight trailer drop area; requires careful maneuvering. Overnight parking available but recently restricted at some locations to employee overflow and empty trailers — check current policy before relying on it. Bobtail parking for 4-6 trucks available. Clean break room and bathrooms. On-site deli/café with food options. STAFF & COMMUNICATION Mixed bag. Many drivers praise guards and yard jockeys as friendly and helpful. Shipping/receiving personnel ranges from very nice to noticeably rude — some reports of eye-rolling, rudeness, and unprofessionalism. Communication about load readiness is poor; staff won't proactively update you. Yard dog directions can be unclear and confusing. OTHER Trailer washout at FR Logistics nearby costs $37.10 (paid or fuel to park). Truck stop 5 miles down road, usually full. Load prioritization favors certain carriers (Prime cited). Some reports of loads being combined or mixed up with others. Meat/protein processing facility — expect industrial conditions.
Driver reviews
For drop and hook it was easy in &out for 1h. but I'm not sure about liveload how long it take
I swear these warehouses just make it up as you go. Sign posted at the gate that states you must exit cab during live unloading. What would be the reasoning behind that other than wanting a power trip? What could I possibly do in my cab that would effect unloading?
