Chick-fil-A Supply DC

Facility info

Operations Appointment-only facility. Strict check-in window—arrive no earlier than 10-30 minutes before appointment time or you'll be turned away. Opening time 7 a.m. Drop and hook operation; keep trailer doors closed, don't break seal. Staff comes to your truck for paperwork and BOL. Unload times vary widely: 30 minutes to 2+ hours reported. Full reefer tank required even for live loads. Facility experience No overnight parking on-site. Lot between street and gate is government property—cannot park or stop there. Street parking available but police actively ticket "no parking" signs in area. Nearby Ben E Keith facility sometimes suggested as alternative, but not guaranteed. Bathrooms available inside (reflective vest required to exit truck). Staff attitude mixed: warehouse workers consistently friendly and professional; gate/security staff enforcement of appointment times draws complaints from some drivers, defended by others as necessary protocol. Yard conditions Very tight backing. Dock entrances extremely difficult to maneuver, especially doors 11-17 and near guard shack. High concentration of dropped trailers creates congestion. Exiting difficult when parked in early docks. Condensation buildup on trailer exteriors during unload—watch footing. Debris and food remnants left in trailers sometimes. No trash receptacles for drivers. Small facility overall with limited space. Other notes Inconsistent enforcement of early arrival policy—some drivers get in 1-2 hours early, others turned away at 10-20 minutes early. Local drivers may be prioritized over appointment holders per some reviews. No contact number except security.
