Colonna Brothers Inc

Facility info

Navigation Notoriously difficult to find — multiple GPS routes lead to blocked or nonexistent roads. Only viable access: I-95 exit 15 → New County Rd → Secaucus → Enterprise Ave S → Metro Way. Look for Colonna sign; entrance is at back of building through employee parking driveway/chain fence gate. Use cell phone GPS, not truck GPS. One reviewer provided detailed turn-by-turn directions in comments worth reading. Operations Appointment scheduling in place but FIFO (first come, first served) load sequencing sometimes ignores appointments. Check-in quick — bring driver's license, staff makes copy. Loaded at docks within minutes to a couple hours depending on dock availability and workload. 4 docks, 4 forklifts available. Wait times highly variable — some loads quick, others all-day slogs. Trailer cleanliness required for Dollar Tree loads; facility will make you clean if needed. Facility Limited space — snug backing but doable with room to swing full circle if lot clear. Easy dock doors once you're in. Bathroom available for drivers. Dumpster onsite. Staff attitude mixed — described as both "extremely nice/friendly/professional" and "slow workers/social club." Small facility with capacity constraints. No overnight parking. Safety/Driving Watch for parked cars lining Metro Way entrance and parking lot. Heavy NYC/Jersey area traffic — approach cautiously.
