Costco Wet Depot #265
12 Costco Dr, Monroe Township, NJ 08831
Operator: Costco
Facility info
Appointments required. Staging area opens 2am; gate turns away trucks >1 hour early before then. Check in at guard shack, receive pager with door assignment. Live unload typical. Most doors assigned within 5-20 minutes of check-in. Unloading usually 20 minutes to 1.5 hours once you get a door, but significant delays reported—some waits 2+ hours past appointment time. Enter left lane (right lane Costco-only). Park in staging area or designated spots. One-way in/out creates bottlenecks. Overnight staging available after 2am only. Street parking posted as no-parking; trucks park anyway but risk tickets. No facility overnight parking before 2am. Porta potties only—filthy condition consistently reported. Staff at gate professional but can be rude about late arrivals. Pager system efficient when working. Yard has ample maneuvering room. Very busy facility with frequent traffic backups on exit. Major issue: inconsistent door timing. Some unload within 1 hour total; others report 3-5 hour waits past appointment despite early arrival. Pagers sometimes malfunction. App check-in requires queue number password (not standard DOT info).

Arrived 8:30 for a 9am appointment. They use to be decent on unload times and long as you arrive within 30 minutes before you appointment time. Geez, idk what the problem is today. 5hrs 15 minutes and counting ive been here and they're still are not done!
This area is not truck "friendly". Finding a safe place to park overnight can be impossible due to the large number of trucks. It is my opinion that if a person is here to serve the purpose of a business, that business should accommodate that person or at least that trailer with a safe haven. If you don't want to keep the person at least allow the trailer to be dropped so the person can have more options for a safe place to sleep. Having people sleep on the side of the road is diabolical when you have a huge lot with plenty of space to at least keep the trailer. I am a company driver and I don't pick the load, the time, none of it. Believe me, I am mad about this not only from the side of Costco but the company I drive for because neither side gives 2 💩💩 about me, my safety and well being, only the profit from the cargo in the trailer attached to this truck. That is why I think it would be proper for Costco to take this trailer and allow me to find a safe place, I am here, in this situation hauling freight you require, that you ordered. This industry needs to remember that the driver is a person. We are people who don't have a safe bed to go to when we clock out. So when you put on the street, you put us in danger and we aren't getting good rest which is another issue as well. This is very disappointing to say the least. Do better
Fast unloading within 30 minutes wonderful
