Guard shack check-in required—provide PU# or paperwork. Self-assign open docks (Door 1 reserved for locals). Pre-load: drop empty, hook loaded trailer, grab paperwork at Shipping & Receiving. Live load/unload: back in, wait for green light, walk to office for docs. Highly variable load/unload times: 45 min–1.5 hrs typical, but 2–6 hrs not uncommon. Appointments strictly enforced; arriving early may result in turnaround. Shipping opens 7:00 AM (not 6:00 AM as sometimes listed). No overnight parking. Staff consistently friendly and professional across guard, office, and receiving. Clean restrooms at shipping office, free coffee. Spacious dock area with easy backing. Communication can be spotty—phone lines unreliable, GPS directions may not match actual location.

Drivers — when you enter, stop at the guard shack. They’ll ask for your pickup number, or your paperwork if you’re getting unloaded. If you’re picking up, they’ll have you open your trailer doors. You assign your own dock — just back into any open dock except Door 1 (Door 1 is for locals only). If you’re here for a pre-load, the guard will give you the trailer number. Drop your empty, hook to your loaded trailer, then park and walk to Shipping & Receiving for your paperwork. If you don’t see your trailer up front, check the overflow lot behind the plant. If you’re live loaded or unloaded, back into any open dock (besides Door 1), wait for the green light, then walk to Shipping & Receiving to get your paperwork. For directions: if you’re coming from Alabama, take I-65 North and exit onto US-64 East, then stay on it until you reach Highway 50. From the east side of Tennessee near Chattanooga, take I-75 to I-24 and exit onto US-64. From Knoxville, stay on I-40 until Crossville, then take US-70 to Highway 55, which merges into Highway 50.

Good place to picking up loads. Fast and profesionals. Easy way. Check in at 2nd floor. You can back in any door and go to office for check in. Not overnight parking. Clean rest room at Office.
Nice people if you have appointments morning they can unload you evening before the day truck stop 15 miles ahead
