Johnson Controls SADC Offsite Warehouse

Facility info

APPOINTMENT REQUIRED — strictly enforced; arrive on time or face delays/rescheduling issues. Some flexibility shown for early arrivals if dock space available. UNLOAD TIMES — wildly inconsistent. Range from 20 minutes to 13+ hours. If appointment is honored and facility isn't backed up, expect 1-2 hours. When backed up or if you're not on the priority list, can stretch to many hours or even multi-day waits. CHECK-IN — report to guard at gate with truck number and phone. Guard calls you when dock door is ready. Disconnect red seal, lock trailer wheels, deliver key before unload. DOCK PROCEDURE — pull into dock, disconnect tractor from trailer, park tractor to side, leave paperwork in trailer, exit. Unload crew finishes job. PARKING — street parking available outside facility on shoulder/curbside. Overnight parking permitted. No designated lot. BATHROOMS — porta-potties available but access reportedly restricted; some guards enforce rules strictly (won't allow use if you're not checked in on appointment list). Hit or miss on whether you'll actually get access. STAFF — mostly friendly and helpful, speak Spanish. Some reports of rude/dismissive attitudes from gate security, but majority of reviews positive. Reception quality varies by person and shift. SAFETY — described as safe location with attentive security. CRITICAL NOTE — delivery only. Do not come here for pickups; redirects go to alternate facility (Clarios, 12+ miles away). 24-HOUR OPERATION — unloading available around the clock. LOCATION — 5050 Stout Dr, San Antonio, TX. Near I-10 and I-410 North, Exit 580. Truck stops nearby.
