Early arrival doesn't guarantee early loading; check in at gate and shipping office, then drop trailer in staging area. Loading times highly variable: some report 25 minutes to 1.5 hours, others 4-7 hours. A few reports of early loading if facility is slow. Drop and hook operation. No lumpers on some loads. Check-in & Timing Gate and shipping office check-in required. Operations roughly M-F 6am-10pm. Some appointments as early as 6am. Hard cutoff times enforced—arriving after your appointment window may result in refusal (supervisory discretion varies). Facility Experience Overnight parking available in multiple locations: gravel lot, next to DC-5, in front of guardhouse. Restroom access: porta potty outside receiving office, restroom on back side of guard shack. Staff attitude mixed but often positive—described as friendly, helpful, nice in majority of recent reviews. Older Kane Distribution reviews mention rude supervisors; current IBC/IHI Hub Group management appears improved but inconsistent. Roads and lot conditions rough. Multiple reports of significant potholes, speed bumps, and very bumpy terrain throughout facility. Staging/parking area deteriorating. Drivers recommend letting air out of seat suspension. Large facility with ample space but poor surface conditions. Access Low clearance bridge 11'3"—take left turn just before bridge (Oak to Stauffer route) or approach from north via Route 11 and Continental Street. Avoid south approach. Some GPS routing goes through town; Google Maps generally accurate.
