Docking: Extremely tight backing with limited maneuverability. Multiple drivers report 7-10 minute backing times. Jersey barriers limit space in front of dock. System rotates trucks through doors in staged order. Experienced drivers manageable; not recommended for new/inexperienced drivers. Some doors have blind-side challenges. Fold mirrors. Ask for spotter help if needed. Check-in: No formal check-in office. Park in staging area to the right of gate. Employee comes out to get paperwork and assign door. Wait time for door assignment ranges 15 minutes to 1+ hour depending on volume. Unloading speed: Highly variable. Range from 1 hour to 7 hours. Most reports fall between 1.5-3 hours. Lumper crews do unloading (lumper fee charged via text, usually within 2 hours). Paperwork: Significant delays reported. Common complaints of 30 minutes to 1+ hour wait for signed bills after unload complete. Processing slower than actual unload. Appointments: Some discrepancies reported between scheduled and actual appointment dates. Confirm details before arrival. Overnight parking: Limited spots available (2-3 trucks maximum). Availability inconsistent—some report access denied. Staging area very tight. Receiving hours: 0630-1100 (early arrivals may get early doors if slots available). Facility access: Difficult navigation to facility. Multiple route options; GPS often inaccurate. Local police actively ticket speeding in town (25 mph limits). Low bridges on approach—watch for clearance. Route recommendations available on-site. Staff attitude: Mixed. Lumper crew generally professional and efficient. Some yard staff reported rude; others friendly and helpful. Facility condition: Building small for volume. Yard space inadequate for size of trailers.
