Petco Animal Supplies - DSC

Facility info

OPERATIONS Appointment-only facility. Strict appointment time enforcement — arrive no more than 5 minutes early or you'll be turned away; some reports of 30+ minute early arrivals being denied entry. Most unloads complete in 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, though some drivers report 3–7 hour waits due to scheduling conflicts and staffing issues. Live unload standard (truck stays off during unload). Drop-and-hook also available — drop trailer, bobtail to parking area, wait for call when ready. Check-in with security guard at gate; they assign your dock door. Have paperwork ready. Last load by 11pm. FACILITY EXPERIENCE No overnight parking at main location (3801 Rock Creek Blvd). Street parking available with mixed results — "no parking" signs on some streets, but some drivers report parking overnight without issue. Limited nearby truck stops; closest is a small Pilot. Gas station nearby may allow bobtailing. Tight, crowded yard — difficult backing maneuvers reported. Two buildings on property; rules may differ between locations. Restrooms available inside. Waiting room climate-controlled (~72°F). Security gate staff vary — mostly professional, but some drivers report rude or overly strict guards. Warehouse staff generally friendly and knowledgeable, though staffing levels inconsistent (understaffed during peak times). Yard conditions described as cramped and disorganized during busy periods. OTHER NOTES Verify your bill of lading destination address and seal numbers before leaving. JB Hunt drop lot with JB Hunt day cabs on property. No supplies available — this is a distribution center, not a retail location.
